Fruit brandy

Obstler typically consists of apples and pears and does not contain plums, unlike in other regions.

Apples from Sommerhausen and Williams pears are mashed separately and distilled very gently. Only after distillation and aging are the two distillates carefully blended and adjusted to an alcohol content of 40% ABV – and the fruit brandy is born!
